1953 Kaiser Manhattan

JUST ARRIVED !!!!!!MOVIE CAR On the truck from CA. Only 10k original miles. No rust, runs great. Needs some TLC. It is being gone thru mechanically now. It had a new aluminum radiator last year. It is having work on the brakes, a new gas tank and new sender coming it this week. I needs a good clean up . It runs exceptionally well. Most of the chrome pieces are pitted. I bought this car in CA where it spent its entire life. It was owned by a large rental company that rents special cars to the "movies". The owner told be that this car has not been in demand for quite a while so he decided to send it to a new home. This is a car that will be able to be used the way it is and you can have things rechromed over the winter or even decide to have it restored. It is a very rare and cool car that drives well and can be enjoyed. It also needs a set of tires because of the age of the tires. I am going to let the new owner decide on what type of tires to put on. I like the wide white wall type for this car but there are many choices. I know several people have reached out about this car. I am hopeful if will be ready next week sometime. Or you can come and look at the car the way it is before it is squared away. This is one of America's most unique mid-fifties family sedans. Known for the heart-shaped front windscreen and unique Dutch Darren style. Kaisers were popular at the time. Our car is powered by a Continental "Supersonic Six" flathead six-cylinder.,It is sporting 226 ci and 115 hp., Kaisers were known for their unique colors and bamboo pattern material interiors. Wheelbase was 188.5"
